Welcome

Krossin' Keuka is a .67 mile fun swim across Keuka Lake, off the shore of Keuka College. Swimmers are escorted by paddlers and marine patrol and greeted with breakfast on the shore. We swim to support the Keuka Comfort Care Home through fund raising in the form of sponsorships.

The Keuka Comfort Care Home is a non-profit home in Penn Yan, NY which provides a facility and staff to ensure compassionate care in a peaceful, home-like environment for our community's terminally ill residents and their families, at no cost to these patients or families.

Requirements to Participate

$25 Registration Fee
Paddlers not required to collect sponsorships, but we strongly encourage it
Must be middle school age or older

Other Important Information

This is a fun swim - not a race
Receive complimentary breakfast and t-shirt
Eligible for prizes through fundraising

Participants Under 18 Years Old

All Participants under 18 years old must have parent/guardian complete online registration
In addition to the requirements for all swimmers, participants in grades 6 - 8 must swim with a designated adult, who must also be a registered participant. High school aged (grades 9-12) participants are not required to swim with a designated adult, but it is recommended.

Planning for 2012 Underway!

The Krossin' Keuka Committee has been busy planning for our 2012 event which will be held on July 28th on the Keuka College Shore. We're really excited about it, and we hope you are too!

We'd like to invite anyone who wishes to volunteer the day of the event to let us know by emailing swim@keukacomfortcarehome.org or by calling Laurie Gillette.

We also welcome anyone on Facebook to "like" our page. We'll keep you updated with photos, plans, ideas, and lake temperatures from now until the event.

We will be ready to sign up participants in March. If you're new to Krossin' Keuka, please provide us with your email address on our registration page so we can notify you when our registration is open.
